Stephen P. Johnson was raised in Boaz, Alabama. Stephen is a graduate of Auburn University and the Alabama School of Law. Stephen was admitted to practice law in the State of Alabama in 1996 and in the State of Mississippi in 1997.
Stephen was employed as a law clerk with the Honorable Rosemary DeJuan Chambers in the Domestic Relations division of the Circuit Court of Mobile County, Alabama and was thereafter an Assistant District Attorney with the Baldwin County District Attorney’s Office.
Stephen has been in the private practice of law with the firm of Brackin, McGriff and Johnson since November of 1999. He is a board member of the Family Law Section of the Alabama State Bar and is a former President of the Robertsdale, Alabama Rotary Club.
Stephen is involved in the general practice of law with extensive practice in the areas of Domestic Relations, Juvenile, Criminal Defense, DUI Defense, Civil litigation, Estate mattes, Personal Injury, Real Estate and Business dissolution and conflict. Stephen has also been involved in excess of thirty Arbitrations concerning condominium disputes involving the Alabama Condominium Act and the Interstate Landsales Full Disclosure Act. Stephen is the President of the Alabama Board of Domestic Relations Lawyers.
